At Nova Haven Academy, support goes beyond tutoring and enrichment. Led by owner Diana Contreras, who holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, our approach is strengthened by experience in child development, learning, behavior, and individualized support.

Our team and professional network include individuals with backgrounds in psychology and child development, Special Instruction, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Project ImPACT implementation. Our team is committed to ongoing professional training and continued learning, allowing us to continue strengthening the individualized educational support we provide to children and families.

A diagnosis is not required for a child to benefit from Nova Haven Academy. We recognize that every child has their own strengths, learning style, and areas where additional support may be helpful. When a child needs something beyond what we provide directly, our commitment to families does not stop there. Through our growing network of educators, developmental professionals, and community resources, we can help families connect with additional resources and professionals when appropriate.

Nova Haven Academy was created to be more than a program. It was created to be a community of support for children and the people raising them. We want families to have a place where questions are welcomed, individual differences are understood, and finding the right support does not have to feel like something they must navigate alone.

Nova Haven Academy is not a school and does not replace your child’s primary education program. Students remain enrolled in their virtual or homeschool program while receiving support and structure during the day. We understand that every child is unique and encourage families to reach out to determine if Nova Haven is the right fit.
